The proposed indication (use) for this product is for the treatment of patients with mutant epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have been previously treated with an EGFRtargeted therapy and have the EGFR T790M mutation as detected by an FDA approved test. FDA intends to make background material available to the public no later than 2 business days before the meeting. If FDA is unable to post the background material on its Web site prior to the meeting, the background material will be made publicly available at the location of the advisory committee meeting, and the background material will be posted on FDA’s Web site after the meeting. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or Agency) is announcing the availability of a draft guidance for industry entitled ‘‘Anthrax: Developing Drugs for Prophylaxis of Inhalational Anthrax.’’ The purpose of this draft guidance is to assist sponsors in the development of new drugs for the prophylaxis of inhalational anthrax. This draft guidance supersedes the draft guidance entitled ‘‘Inhalational Anthrax (Post-Exposure)—Developing Antimicrobial Drugs’’ issued in March 2002.
