Food and Nutrition Service
Title: Food Program Reporting System
(FPRS).
OMB Control Number: 0584–0594.
Summary of Collection: The Food and
Nutrition Service (FNS) is the Federal
agency responsible for managing the
domestic nutrition assistance programs.
Its mission is to increase food security
and reduce hunger in partnership with
cooperating organization by providing
children and low-income people with
access to food, a healthful diet and
nutrition education in a manner that
supports American agriculture and
inspires public confidence. FNS is
consolidating certain programmatic and
financial data reporting requirements
under the Food Programs Reporting
System (FPRS), an electronic reporting
system. The purpose is to give States
and Indian Tribal Organizations (ITO)
agencies one portal for the various
reporting required for the programs that
the States and ITO operate.

Need and Use of the Information: The
data collected will be used for a variety
of purposes, mainly program evaluation,
planning, audits, funding, research,
regulatory compliance and general
statistics. The data is gathered at various
times, ranging from monthly, quarterly,
annual or final submissions. With the
information FNS would be unable to
meet its legislative and regulatory
reporting requirements for the affected
programs.

ACTION:
The Humboldt County
Resource Advisory Committee (RAC)
will meet in Eureka, California. The
committee is authorized under the
Secure Rural Schools and Community
Self-Determination Act (the Act) and
operates in compliance with the Federal
Advisory Committee Act. The purpose
of the committee is to improve
collaborative relationships and to
provide advice and recommendations to
the Forest Service concerning projects
and funding consistent with Title II of
the Act. RAC information can be found

DATES: The meeting will be held March
8, 2016, at 4:00 p.m.
All RAC meetings are subject to
cancellation. For status of meeting prior

by March 4, 2016, to be scheduled on
the agenda. Anyone who would like to
bring related matters to the attention of
the committee may file written
statements with the committee staff
before or after the meeting. Written
