Title: At-Risk Limitations.
OMB Number: 1545–0712.
Form Number: Form 6198.
Abstract: Internal Revenue Code
section 465 requires taxpayers to limit
their at-risk loss to the lesser of the loss
or their amount at risk. Form 6198 is
used by taxpayers to determine their
deductible loss and by IRS to verify the
amount deducted.
Current Actions: There are no changes
being made to the form at this time.
Type of Review: Extension of a
currently approved collection.
Affected Public: Business or other forprofit organizations, and individuals,
not-for-profit institutions, and farms.

Abstract: Under 38 CFR 36.4600(d),
the holder of a delinquent vendee
account is legally entitled to repurchase
of the loan by VA when the loan has
been continuously in default for 3
months and the amount of the
delinquency equals or exceeds the sum
of 2 monthly installments. When
requesting the repurchase of a loan, the
holder uses VA Form 26–8084.

Abstract: VA Form 21–0161a is used
to gather information to determine
entitlement to income-dependent
benefits. The VA compensation and
pension programs require the accurate
reporting of income by those who are in
receipt of income-dependent benefits.
This form solicits information from
employers of beneficiaries who have
been identified as having inaccurately
reported their income to VA.
