Description of Relief Sought: The
petitioner is requesting relief in order to
instruct students on Unmanned Aircraft
Systems (UAS) operations in the
National Airspace System (NAS).
Petitioner’s curriculum includes noncertified and certificated aviation
students manipulating UAS controls
with an aviation certificated pilot as the
pilot in command (PIC) acting as an
instructor who is able to take control of
the UAS at any time.
