The existing bridge operating regulations are found at 33 CFR 117.800. The waterway is transited by one commercial user and recreation vessel traffic. Under this temporary deviation, the Bayville Bridge may remain in the closed position from 7:00 a.m. on January 11, 2016 to 3:30 p.m. on January 15, 2016. Vessels able to pass through the bridge in the closed position may do so at any time. The bridge will not be able to open for emergencies and there is no immediate alternate route for vessels to pass.
