to 10 pilot sites to develop and
rigorously test innovative SNAP E&T
strategies for engaging more SNAP work
registrants in employment, increasing

reliance on public assistance.
Need and Use of the Information: An
evaluation of the pilot sites will be
critical in helping Congress and FNS
identify strategies that effectively assist
SNAP participants to succeed in the
labor market and become self-sufficient.
The data collected for this evaluation
will be used for implementation,
impact, participant and cost-benefit
analyses for each pilot site.

Chemical Safety and Hazard
Investigation Board (CSB) will convene
a public meeting on November 23, 2015,

The Board will discuss investigations
and operational activities through the
end of the calendar year and will also
provide an update on CSB audits
conducted by the EPA Inspector
General. An opportunity for public
comment will be provided.

The CSB is an independent federal
agency charged with investigating
accidents and hazards that result, or
may result, in the catastrophic release of
extremely hazardous substances. The
agency’s Board Members are appointed
by the President and confirmed by the
Senate. CSB investigations look into all
aspects of chemical accidents and
hazards, including physical causes such
as equipment failure as well as
inadequacies in regulations, industry
standards, and safety management
systems.
