AGENCY: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has docketed a license amendment application from Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). PG&E is requesting a revision to the Technical Specifications utilized at the Diablo Canyon Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) located in San Luis Obispo County, California to remove preferential loading references and improve the readability and human factors usage of the Technical Specifications. The NRC is evaluating whether approval of this request would be categorically excluded from the requirement to prepare an environmental assessment.
