Eastern Shore seeks authorization to increase the certificated capacity of its Receipt Zone 1 facilities by 53,000 dekatherms per day, all as more fully set forth in the application, which is open to the public for inspection. Specifically, Eastern Shore’s Receipt Zone 1 consists of eight-mile long sixteen-inch diameter pipeline and interconnect with Texas Eastern Transmission, LP (Texas Eastern) in Chester County, PA. Eastern Shore proposes to increase meter capacity and upgrade pressure and flow control equipment at the interconnect with Texas Eastern to accommodate additional capacity. Eastern Shore states that proposed project has been designed based on the customer requests received during an open season that Eastern Shore conducted in the month of June, 2015. Eastern Shore further states that the total estimated cost of the project is $1,375,038 and will be covered by the customer commitments. Any person or the Commission’s staff may, within 60 days after issuance of the instant notice by the Commission, file pursuant to Rule 214 of the Commission’s Procedural Rules (18 CFR 385.214) a motion to intervene or notice of intervention and pursuant to section 157.205 of the regulations under the NGA (18 CFR 157.205), a protest to the request. If no protest is filed within the time allowed therefore, the proposed activity shall be deemed to be authorized effective the day after the time allowed for filing a protest.
