The Department of State is
seeking Office of Management and
Budget (OMB) approval for the
information collection described below.
In accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995, we are
requesting comments on this collection
from all interested individuals and
organizations. The purpose of this
notice is to allow 60 days for public
comment preceding submission of the
collection to OMB.

December 28, 2015.

• Enhance the quality, utility, and
clarity of the information to be
collected.
• Minimize the reporting burden on
those who are to respond, including the
use of automated collection techniques
or other forms of information
technology.

Abstract of Proposed Collection
This collection of information is
under the provisions of the Mutual
Educational and Cultural Exchange Act,
as amended, and the Exchange Visitor
Program regulations (22 CFR part 62), as
applicable. The information collected
will be used by the Department to
ascertain whether there are any issues
that would affect the safety and wellbeing of exchange program participants.
Methodology
The survey will be sent electronically
via the Survey Monkey tool and
responses collected electronically. If a
respondent requests a paper version of
the survey it will be provided.
