Pursuant
to 25 CFR 293.5, an extension to an
existing tribal-state Class III gaming
compact does not require approval by
the Secretary if the extension does not
include any amendment to the terms of
the compact. The Pyramid Lake Paiute
Tribe and the State of Nevada have
reached an agreement to extend the
expiration of their existing Tribal-State
Class III gaming compact to February 23,
2017. This publishes notice of the new
expiration date of the compact.

Compact between the State of California
and the Jackson Band of Miwuk Indians
governing Class III gaming (Compact) is
effective on publication of this notice.

Tribal-State compacts for the purpose of
engaging in Class III gaming activities
on Indian lands. As required by 25 CFR
293.4, all compacts are subject to review
and approval by the Secretary. The
Secretary took no action on the Compact
within 45 days of its submission.
Therefore, the Compact is considered to
have been approved, but only to the
extent the Compact is consistent with
IGRA. See 25 U.S.C. 2710(d)(8)(C).
