NMFS has finalized the EA and prepared a Finding of No Significant Impact for this action. Therefore, preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement is not necessary. NMFS’ draft EA was available to the public for a 30day comment period before it was finalized. Authorization As a result of these determinations, NMFS has issued an IHA to SAE for the take of marine mammals, by Level B and Level A harassments, incidental to conducting a 3D OBN seismic survey in the Beaufort Sea during the 2015 openwater season, provided the previously mentioned mitigation, monitoring, and reporting requirements are incorporated.
