The seal of the National Archives and Records Administration authenticates the Federal Register as the official serial publication established under the Federal Register Act. The online edition of the Federal Register is issued under the authority of the Administrative Committee of the Federal Register as the official legal equivalent of the paper and microfiche editions (44 U.S.C. 4101 and 1 CFR 5.10).
