The proposed Adak Water System Project would have an installed capacity of 1.7 kilowatts (kW), and would be located along the existing 8-inch-diameter pipeline between the city’s water treatment plant and the treated water storage tanks. The proposed project would have a total installed capacity of 1.7 kW. A qualifying conduit hydropower facility is one that is determined or deemed to meet all of the criteria shown in the table below.
