A. Overview of Information Collection
Title of Information Collection:
Manufactured Home Construction and
Safety Standards Act Reporting.
OMB Approval Number: 2502–0253.
Type of Request: Revision.

Description of the need for the

Federal Standards and Procedural

of their homes on-site rather than in the
factory without first having to obtain
advance approval from HUD. In
addition, some information collected
assists both HUD and State Agency’s in
locating manufactured homes with
defects, which then would create the
need for notification and/or correction
by the manufacturer.
