Description of Request: Green Mountain Power Corporation (Green Mountain) proposes to delete from the project license a section of the existing 12.5-kilovolt (kV) transmission line. As currently licensed, the 12.5–kV transmission line extends approximately 6 miles from Pole 115, via Pole 62x, to the Quechee substation. Green Mountain plans to interconnect a 150-kilowatt net-metered solar electric generator at Pole 62x. As a result, the 3.525-mile-long section of transmission line from Pole 62x to the Quechee substation would become necessary to transmit power from the solar generation project. Green Mountain, therefore, proposes to delete that section of transmission line from the project license. l.
