(5) An estimate of the total number of respondents and the amount of time estimated for an average respondent to respond/reply: It is estimated that it will take the approximately 200 respondents (Arrest Program grantees) approximately one hour to complete a semi-annual progress report. The semi-annual progress report is divided into sections that pertain to the different types of activities in which grantees may engage. An Arrest Program grantee will only be required to complete the sections of the form that pertain to its own specific activities. Beaver Oil Co., Inc., Civil Action No. 13 C 830. The defendant in this case, Beaver Oil Company, Inc., operates a centralized waste treatment and used oil recycling facility in Hodgkins, Illinois. The lawsuit alleges that the defendant violated the Clean Water Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act by failing to comply with regulations governing the handling of wastewater and hazardous wastes. The proposed settlement requires the defendant to perform injunctive relief and pay a civil penalty of $250,000. The publication of this notice opens a period for public comment on the consent decree.
