Abstract: The letter is used by a law
enforcement officer to purchase
handguns to be used in his/her official
duties from a licensed firearm dealer
anywhere in the country. The letter
shall state that the officer will use the
firearm in official duties and that a
records check reveals that the
purchasing officer has no convictions
for misdemeanor crimes of domestic
violence.
(5) An estimate of the total number of
respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: An estimated 50,000
respondents will take 8 minutes to
complete and file the letter.
(6) An estimate of the total public
burden (in hours) associated with the
collection: The estimated annual public
burden associated with this collection is
6,667 hours.

FBI Laboratory Customer Satisfaction
Assessment

This information collection is an
assessment of the FBI Laboratory
services by law enforcement agencies
(federal, state, and local) that submit
evidence for examination. The
information collected is used by FBI
Laboratory management to evaluate the
quality of the forensic services provided
to law enforcement. Additionally, the
FBI Laboratory is accredited by the
American Society of Crime Laboratory
Directors/Laboratory Accreditation
Board (ASCLD/LAB) under the ASCLD/
LAB-International Accreditation
Program. A requirement for maintaining
accreditation is for the FBI Laboratory to
seek feedback, both positive and
negative, from its customers. This
feedback is evaluated to improve the
services of the FBI Laboratory. The
information gathered in the FD–1000
will meet this requirement.
5. An estimate of the total number of
respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: An estimated 3000
respondents will complete the
assessment with an estimated range of
burden for respondents to be 5 minutes
for completion.

Notice of Lodging of Proposed
Settlement Agreement Under the
Comprehensive Environmental
Response, Compensation, and Liability
Act
On February 4, 2015, the Chapter 7
Trustee lodged a proposed Settlement
Agreement with the United States
Bankruptcy Court for the Southern
District of Florida, in the Chapter 7
bankruptcy entitled In re: Merendon
Mining (Nevada), Inc. a/k/a/Milowe
Brost Company, Case No. 09–11958–
BKC–AJC.
The Settlement Agreement resolves
the claims of the United States set forth
in the Proof of Claim against Merendon
Mining (Nevada), Inc., for costs incurred
and to be incurred in connection with
the Central City/Clear Creek Superfund
Site, located in Clear Creek County and
Gilpin County, Colorado (the ‘‘Site’’),
pursuant to Section 107 of the
Comprehensive Environmental
Response, Compensation, and Liability
Act (‘‘CERCLA’’), 42 U.S.C. 9607. Under
the Settlement Agreement, the Chapter
7 Trustee agrees to an allowed claim of
$65,043.00 for past costs incurred by the
United States Environmental Protection
Agency at the Site.
The publication of this notice opens
a period for public comment on the
Settlement Agreement. Comments
should be addressed to the Assistant
Attorney General, Environment and
Natural Resources Division, and should
refer to In re: Merendon Mining
(Nevada), Inc. a/k/a/Milowe Brost
Company, DJ No. 90–11–3–10182. All
comments must be submitted no later
