conveyance of the surface estate in the
lands described below to Atqasuk
Corporation pursuant to the Alaska
Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).
These lands lie entirely within the
National Petroleum Reserve—Alaska. As
provided by the ANCSA, the subsurface
estate in lands lying within the
Petroleum Reserve is not available for
conveyance to Arctic Slope Regional
Corporation and will be reserved to the
United States at the time of conveyance.
