The Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) amends the EPA
Acquisition Regulation (EPAAR) to
update policy, procedures, and contract
clauses. This final rule updates the
EPAAR clause, Work Assignments.
DATES: This final rule is effective on
December 18, 2014.

SUMMARY:
I. Background
On December 3, 2009, the Office of
Acquisition Management (OAM) Head
of the Contracting Activity (HCA) issued
a class deviation that revised the
prescription for the subject clause by
eliminating the requirement that EPA
include total estimated labor hours
when issuing work assignments. The
revised prescription is necessary
