2014, pursuant to section 306 of the
Federal Power Act, 16 U.S.C. 824e and
Rule 206 of the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission’s (Commission)
Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 CFR
385.206, Departing Kentucky
Municipals (Departing Kentucky
Municipals or Complainant), filed a
formal complaint against Kentucky
Utilities Company (Kentucky Utilities
Company or Respondent), alleging that
Kentucky Utilities Company has failed
to comply with Section 4.1.3.4 of its
wholesale requirements contracts with
the Departing Kentucky Municipals,
which requires it to file for Commission
approval to stop collecting in its rates to
Departing Kentucky Municipals the
costs associated with construction work
in progress after receiving the Departing
Kentucky Municipals’ notices of
termination, as more fully explained in
the complaint.
Departing Kentucky Municipals
certify that copies of the complaint were
served on the contacts for Kentucky
Utilities Company as listed on the
Commission’s list of Corporate Officials.
