Notice of Petition for Declaratory Order
Take notice that on November 6,
2014, pursuant to Rule 207 of the
Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission’s (Commission) Rules of
Practice and Procedure, 18 CFR 385.207
(2014), Southern California Edison
Company (SCE) filed a petition for
declaratory order seeking affirmation
that the limitation on damages
contained in Article 18.2 of the Large
Generator Interconnection Agreement
(LGIA) prohibits an interconnection
customer from recovering, from its
transmission provider, lost profits on
power sales. In addition, SCE states that
a Commission order affirming the
meaning and purpose of Article 18.2
would serve to protect ratepayers,
ensure that FERC policy and intent
reflected in the LGIA is implemented,
provide transmission providers across
the country with equal treatment and
consistent interpretation of the LGIA,

and enhance the construction of
facilities needed to interconnect
renewable power, as more fully
explained in the petition.
