Strike Reservoir, about 35 miles southwest of Mountain Home in southwestern Idaho. The site provides opportunities to fish, hike, view wildlife, boat (motorized and nonmotorized), waterski, swim, camp, and picnic. There are no proposed changes to Cove Recreation Site user fees, which were established in 2007 under the Recreation Fee Demonstration Program. The proposed supplementary rules would help the BLM achieve management objectives for the Snake River Birds of Prey NCA, which include restoring and rehabilitating non-shrub areas, and improving raptor and raptor prey habitat, while imposing only moderate restrictions on recreation. They would also provide the BLM with the enforcement tools needed to enhance public health and safety and help prevent damage to natural and cultural resources.
