SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
I. Introduction
As required by § 51.21 of Title 10 of
the Code of Federal Regulations (10
CFR), the NRC staff performed an
environmental assessment to document
its findings. SNC previously submitted
its license amendment request by letter
dated December 15, 2011 (ADAMS
Accession No. ML113500108) and
subsequently withdrew it by letter dated
April 20, 2012 (ADAMS Accession No.
ML12122A113). Based on information
provided in SNC’s resubmittal dated
July 5, 2012 (ADAMS Accession No.
ML13015A089), SNC’s response to
NRC’s request for additional
information dated October 10, 2012
(ADAMS Accession No. ML12284A299),
and the NRC staff’s independent review
of references, the NRC did not identify
any significant environmental impacts
associated with the proposed license
amendment.
Based on the results of the
environmental assessment documented
herein, the NRC is issuing this Finding
of No Significant Impact (FONSI), in
accordance with 10 CFR 51.32, for the
proposed license amendment.
