Cancelling and re-scheduling of
Council Meetings.
ACTION:
The Hispanic Council on
Federal Employment (Council) is
cancelling the April 17, 2014 Council
meeting and will hold its remaining
2014 Council meetings on the dates and
location shown below. The Council is
an advisory committee composed of
representatives from Hispanic
organizations and senior government
officials. Along with its other
responsibilities, the Council shall advise
the Director of the Office of Personnel
Management on matters involving the
recruitment, hiring, and advancement of
Hispanics in the Federal workforce. The
Council is co-chaired by the Chief of
Staff of the Office of Personnel
Management and the Chair of the
National Hispanic Leadership Agenda
(NHLA).
The meeting is open to the public.
Please contact the Office of Personnel
Management at the address shown
below if you wish to present material to
the Council at any of the meetings. The
manner and time prescribed for
presentations may be limited,
depending upon the number of parties
that express interest in presenting
information.

SUMMARY: Summary of Application:
The Substitution Applicants seek an
order pursuant to Section 26(c) of the
1940 Act, approving the substitution of
certain shares of the Trust for shares of
other registered investment companies

Applicants (the ‘‘Substitutions’’) each of
which is currently used as an
underlying investment option for
certain variable annuity contracts
(collectively, the ‘‘Contracts’’). The
Section 17 Applicants seek an order
pursuant to Section 17(b) of the 1940
Act exempting them from Section 17(a)
of the Act to the extent necessary to
permit them to engage in certain in-kind
transactions (‘‘In-Kind Transfers’’) in
connection with the Substitutions.
DATES: Filing Date: The application was
filed on September 30, 2013, and an
amended and restated application was
filed on February 28, 2014.
HEARING OR NOTIFICATION OF HEARING: An
order granting the application will be
issued unless the Commission orders a
hearing. Interested persons may request
a hearing by writing to the Secretary of
the Commission and serving the
Applicants with a copy of the request,
personally or by mail. Hearing requests
should be received by the Commission
by 5:30 p.m. on April 21, 2014, and
should be accompanied by proof of
service on the Applicants in the form of
an affidavit or, for lawyers, a certificate
of service. Hearing requests should state
the nature of the requester’s interest, the
reason for the request, and the issues
contested. Persons who wish to be
notified of a hearing may request
notification by writing to the Secretary
