The public comment period for these
regulations expired on March 5, 2014.

instructed those interested in testifying
at the public hearing to submit a request
to speak and an outline of the topics to

ACTION:
The Coast Guard proposes to
establish special local regulations
during the ‘‘Coastal Aquatics Swim
Team Open Water Summer Shore
Swim’’, a marine event to be held on the
waters of the Nanticoke River at Bivalve,
MD on June 29, 2014. These special
local regulations are necessary to
provide for the safety of life on
navigable waters during the event. This
action is intended to temporarily restrict
vessel traffic in a portion of the
Nanticoke River during the event.
DATES: Comments and related material
must be received by the Coast Guard on
or before April 28, 2014. The Coast
Guard anticipates that this proposed
rule will be effective on June 29, 2014.
