Description of Relief Sought: Petitioner requests modifications to the existing Exemption No. 10039A, which permits the petitioner and operators of Cessna Citation airplanes covered by the CE–500 type rating to operate those airplanes with a single pilot. The petitioner is requesting the conditions and limitations be changed to allow CAE pilots who satisfactorily complete CAE Simuflite’s part 142 FAA approved initial or renewal curriculum to receive credit for previous ground training specific to aircraft systems. The previous training would be credited towards CAE Simuflite’s FAA approved part 142 single pilot curriculum under certain conditions. ACTION: Notice of renewal of exemptions; request for comments. AGENCY: FMCSA announces its decision to renew the exemptions from the vision requirement in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations for 12 individuals. FMCSA has statutory authority to exempt individuals from the vision requirement if the exemptions granted will not compromise safety. The Agency has concluded that granting these exemption renewals will provide a level of safety that is equivalent to or greater than the level of safety maintained without the exemptions for these commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers. DATES: This decision is effective March 7, 2014. Comments must be received on or before April 4, 2014.     Description of Relief Sought:
    Petitioner requests modifications to the existing Exemption No.
