Notice is hereby given that, on
December 19, 2013, pursuant to Section
6(a) of the National Cooperative
Research and Production Act of 1993,
15 U.S.C. 4301 et seq. (‘‘the Act’’),
Petroleum Environmental Research
Forum Project 2011–06 (‘‘Project 2011–
06’’) has filed written notifications
simultaneously with the Attorney
General and the Federal Trade
Commission disclosing (1) the identities
of the parties to the venture and (2) the
nature and objectives of the venture.
The notifications were filed for the
purpose of invoking the Act’s provisions
limiting the recovery of antitrust
plaintiffs to actual damages under
specified circumstances.
Pursuant to Section 6(b) of the Act,
the identities of the parties to the
venture are Chevron U.S.A. Inc., San
Ramon, CA; Phillips 66 Company,
Houston, TX; Total SA, Paris La
Defense, FRANCE; ExxonMobil
Research and Engineering Company,
Fairfax, VA; and BP Products North
America, Inc., Naperville, IL. The
general area of Project 2011–06’s
planned activity is that Chevron,
Phillips 66, Total, ExxonMobil, and BP
are jointly undertaking Project 2011–06
to realize efficiencies in understanding
and improving cooling tower PM
emission measurement and estimation
methods.

4301 et seq. (‘‘the Act’’), Petroleum
Environmental Research Forum
(‘‘PERF’’) has filed written notifications
simultaneously with the Attorney
General and the Federal Trade
Commission disclosing changes in its
membership. The notifications were
filed for the purpose of extending the
Act’s provisions limiting the recovery of
antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages
under specified circumstances.
Specifically, The Questor Centre,
Belfast, Northern Ireland, UNITED
KINGDOM, has withdrawn as a party to
this venture.
No other changes have been made in
either the membership or planned
activity of the group research project.
Membership in this group research
project remains open, and PERF intends
to file additional written notifications
disclosing all changes in membership.
On February 10, 1986, PERF filed its
original notification pursuant to Section
6(a) of the Act. The Department of
Justice published a notice in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on March 14, 1986 (51 FR 8903).
The last notification was filed with
the Department on September 10, 2012.
A notice was published in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on October 11, 2012 (77 FR 61786).

activities. The notifications were filed
for the purpose of extending the Act’s
provisions limiting the recovery of
antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages
under specified circumstances.
Specifically, since August 16, 2013
ASME has published two new standards
and initiated one new standard activity
within the general nature and scope of
ASME’s standards development
activities, as specified in its original
notification. More detail regarding these
changes can be found at www.asme.org.
On September 15, 2004, ASME filed
its original notification pursuant to
Section 6(a) of the Act. The Department
of Justice published a notice in the
Federal Register pursuant to Section
6(b) of the Act on October 13, 2004 (69
FR 60895).
The last notification was filed with
the Department on August 20, 2013. A
notice was published in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on September 24, 2013 (78 FR
58558).
