Special Disabled Veteran—A veteran
who is entitled to compensation (or who
but for the receipt of military retired pay
would be entitled to compensation)
under the laws administered by the
Department of Veterans Affairs for

Veteran of the Vietnam Era—A
veteran who served on active duty for a

such active duty occurred in the
Republic of Vietnam between February
28, 1961 and May 7, 1975; or between
August 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975, in all
other cases; or was discharged or
released from active duty for a serviceconnected disability if any part of such
active duty was performed in the
Republic of Vietnam between February
28, 1961 and May 7, 1975; or between
August 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975.
Pre-JVA Recently Separated
Veteran—A pre-JVA recently separated
veteran means a pre-JVA veteran
separated during the one-year period
beginning on the date of the pre-JVA
veteran’s discharge or release from
active duty.
Other Protected Veteran—A veteran
who served on active duty during a war
or in a campaign or expedition for
which a campaign badge has been
authorized, under the laws administered
by the Department of Defense.

from incidents involving two or more
vehicles; and (3) for the purpose of
modeling and designing custom parts
for vehicles.

The prospective partially
exclusive license may be granted unless,
within fifteen (15) days from the date of
this published notice, NASA receives
written objections including evidence
and argument that establish that the
grant of the license would not be
consistent with the requirements of 35
U.S.C. 209 and 37 CFR 404.7.
Competing applications completed and
received by NASA within fifteen (15)
days of the date of this published notice
will also be treated as objections to the
grant of the contemplated exclusive
license. Objections submitted in
response to this notice will not be made
available to the public for inspection
and, to the extent permitted by law, will
not be released under the Freedom of
Information Act, 5 U.S.C. 552.

This notice is issued in

notice of its intent to grant a partially
exclusive, copyright-only license in the
United States to practice the inventions
