FDA intends to make background

Procedure: On February 28, 2014,
between approximately 8 a.m. and 9:30
a.m. and between approximately 10 a.m.
and 4:20 p.m., the meeting is open to
the public. Interested persons may
present data, information, or views,
orally or in writing, on issues pending
before the committee. Written
submissions may be made to the contact
person on or before February 21, 2014.
Oral presentations from the public will
be scheduled between approximately
2:20 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. on February 28,
2014. Those individuals interested in
making formal oral presentations should
notify the contact person and submit a
brief statement of the general nature of
the evidence or arguments they wish to
present, the names and addresses of
proposed participants, and an
indication of the approximate time
requested to make their presentation on
or before February 13, 2014. Time
allotted for each presentation may be
limited. If the number of registrants
requesting to speak is greater than can
be reasonably accommodated during the
scheduled open public hearing session,
FDA may conduct a lottery to determine
the speakers for the scheduled open
public hearing session. The contact
person will notify interested persons
regarding their request to speak by
February 14, 2014.
Closed Committee Deliberations: On
February 28, 2014, between
approximately 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.,
the meeting will be closed to permit
discussion where disclosure would
constitute a clearly unwarranted
invasion of personal privacy (5 U.S.C.
552b(c)(6)). The committee will discuss
the report of the intramural research
programs and make recommendations
regarding personnel staffing decisions.
Persons attending FDA’s advisory
committee meetings are advised that the
Agency is not responsible for providing

Collection: The NIH makes available
financial assistance, in the form of
educational loan repayment, to M.D.,

D.P.M., DC, and N.D. degree holders, or
the equivalent, who perform biomedical
or behavioral research in NIH
intramural laboratories or as extramural
grantees or scientists funded by
domestic non-profit organizations for a
minimum of 2 years (3 years for the
General Research LRP) in research areas
supporting the mission and priorities of
the NIH.
The AIDS Research Loan Repayment
Program (AIDS–LRP) is authorized by
Section 487A of the Public Health
Service Act (42 U.S.C. 288–1); the
Clinical Research Loan Repayment
Program for Individuals from
Disadvantaged Backgrounds (CR–LRP)
is authorized by Section 487E (42 U.S.C.
288–5); the General Research Loan
Repayment Program (GR–LRP) is
