Abstract: VA Form 26–8736a is completed by nonsupervised lender’s and the lender’s nominee for credit underwriting with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Lenders are authorized by VA to make automatic guaranteed loans if approved for such purposes. The lender is required to have a qualified underwriter to review loans to be closed on automatic basis and determine that the loan meets VA’s credit underwriting standards. VA uses the data collected on the form to evaluate the nominee’s credit underwriting experience. In the interest of promoting openness and transparency— the goals of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA)—we are publishing a late notice in the Federal Register to inform the public that the meeting was held on the dates and times listed in the original notice below.
