SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: CBP
invites the general public and other
Federal agencies to comment on
proposed and/or continuing information
collections pursuant to the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub. L. 104–13;
44 U.S.C. 3507). The comments should
address: (a) Whether the collection of
information is necessary for the proper
performance of the functions of the

information shall have practical utility;
(b) the accuracy of the agency’s

technology; and (e) the annual costs
burden to respondents or record keepers

Form Number: 247.
Abstract: The information collected
on Form 247, Cost Submission, is used
by CBP to assist in correctly calculating
the duty on imported merchandise. This
form includes details on actual costs
and helps CBP determine which costs
are dutiable and which are not. This
collection of information is provided for
by subheadings 9801.00.10, 9802.00.40,
9802.00.50, 9802.00.60 and 9802.00.80
of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of
the United States (HTSUS) and by 19
CFR 10.11–10.24, 19 CFR 141.88 and 19
CFR 152.106. Form 247 can be found at
https://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/
forms.
Current Actions: This submission is
being made to extend the expiration
date with no change to the burden
