Title: Disabled Veterans Application for Vocational Rehabilitation (Chapter 31, Title 38 U.S.C.), VA Form 28–1900. OMB Control Number: 2900–0009. Type of Review: Extension without change of a currently approved collection. Abstract: VA Form 28–1900 is completed by Veterans with a combined service-connected disability rating of ten percent or more and awaiting discharge for such disability to apply for vocational rehabilitation benefits. VA provides service and assistance to veterans with disabilities, who have an entitlement determination, to gain and keep suitable employment. Vocational rehabilitation also provides service to support veterans with disabilities to achieve maximum independence in their daily living activities if employment is not reasonably feasible. VA use the information collected to determine the claimant’s eligibility for vocational rehabilitation benefits. Affected Public: Individuals or households. Estimated Annual Burden: 16,961 hours.
