Abstract: VA Form Letter 21–914 is
use to verify whether Filipino veterans
of the Special Philippine Scouts,
Commonwealth Army of the
Philippines, organized guerilla groups
receiving service-connected
compensation benefits and survivors
receiving service connected death
benefits at the full–dollar rate, actually
resides in the United States as United
States citizens or as aliens lawfully
admitted for permanent residence. The
information is needed to determine
whether the claimant continues to meet
the United States residency
requirements.
An agency may not conduct or
sponsor, and a person is not required to
respond to a collection of information
unless it displays a currently valid OMB
control number. The Federal Register

The Veterans Benefits
Administration (VBA), Department of
Veterans Affairs (VA), is announcing an
opportunity for public comment on the
proposed collection of certain
information by the agency. Under the
Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of
1995, Federal agencies are required to
publish notice in the Federal Register
concerning each proposed collection of
information, including each proposed
extension of a currently approved
collection, and allow 60 days for public
comment in response to the notice. This
notice solicits comments on information
needed to determine a child’s eligibility
for death pension once a surviving
spouse remarries.
