SUMMARY:

Abstract: Section 306C of the
Consolidated Farm and Rural
Development Act (7 U.S.C. 926c)
authorizes the Rural Utilities Service to
make loans and grants to low-income
rural communities whose residents face
significant health risks. These
communities do not have access to, or
are not served by, adequate affordable
water supply systems or waste disposal
facilities. The loans and grants will be
available to provide water and waste
disposal facilities and services to these
communities, as determined by the
Secretary.
The Section 306C WWD Loans and
Grants program is administered through
7 CFR part 1777.
Estimate of Burden: Public reporting
burden for this collection of information
is estimated to average 9 hours per
response.
Respondents: Not for profits; State,
Local or Tribal Government.
