The 22 kW Orchard City Water Treatment Plant Hydroelectric Project would utilize Orchard City’s water intake pipeline that delivers water to its water treatment plant, and it would be located in Delta County, Colorado. The proposed project would have an estimated annual generating capacity of 190 megawatthours. A qualifying conduit hydropower facility is one that is determined or deemed to meet all of the criteria shown in the table below.
