Abstract: VA Form 21–1775 is used to
gather information from a claimant to
make a decision regarding the
unexplained absence of a veteran for
over 7 years. The data collected will be
used to determine the claimant’s
entitlement to death benefits.
An agency may not conduct or
sponsor, and a person is not required to
respond to a collection of information
unless it displays a currently valid OMB
control number. The Federal Register
