The estimated cost is $300 million. This proposed sale will contribute to the foreign policy and national security of the United States by helping to improve the security of a strategic partner. This proposed sale directly supports the Iraq government and serves the interests of the Iraqi people and the U.S. This proposed sale will contribute to Iraq’s stability and sovereignty by providing a critical component to building its Air Force and achieving air sovereignty.
