SUMMARY: The United States Patent and Trademark Office (``USPTO'') is 
extending until August 21, 2013, the period for public comment 
regarding the processes, data metrics, and methodologies that could be 
used to assess the effectiveness of cooperative agreements and other 
voluntary initiatives to reduce intellectual property infringement that 
occurs on-line--such as copyright piracy and trademark counterfeiting. 
The USPTO is extending the public comment period to ensure stakeholders 
have adequate time to submit complete responses.
