Brief Description of Collection: Submission of this information allows Office of Federal Acknowledgment (OFA) to review applications for the Federal acknowledgment of a group as an Indian tribe. The acknowledgment regulations at 25 CFR part 83 contain seven criteria that unrecognized groups seeking Federal acknowledgment as Indian tribes must demonstrate that they meet. Information collect from petitioning groups under these regulations provide anthropological, genealogical and historical data used by the Assistant Secretary—Indian Affairs to establish whether a petitioning group has the characteristics necessary to be acknowledged as having a governmentto-government relationship with the United States. ACTION: Notice of Decision Approving Lands for Conveyance.

SUMMARY: As required by 43 CFR 2650.7(d), notice is hereby given that 
an appealable decision will be issued by the Bureau of Land Management 
(BLM) to The Kuskokwim Corporation. The decision approves the surface 
estate in the lands described below for conveyance pursuant to the 
Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (43 U.S.C. 1601, et seq.). The 
subsurface estate in these lands will be conveyed to Calista 
Corporation when the surface estate is conveyed to The Kuskokwim 
Corporation. The lands are in the vicinity of Napaimute, Alaska, and
