We, NMFS, have completed a
comprehensive status review of the
ribbon seal (Histriophoca fasciata)
under the Endangered Species Act
(ESA). Based on the best scientific and
commercial data available, including
the Biological Review Team’s (BRT’s)
status review report, we conclude that
listing the ribbon seal as threatened or
endangered under the ESA is not
warranted at this time. We also
announce the availability of the ribbon
seal status review report.

made on July 10, 2013.
