General Description of Collection: The
FDIC collects assessments from insured
institutions pursuant to pursuant to
section 7 of the Federal Deposit
Insurance Act (‘‘FDI Act’’), 12 U.S.C.
1817(c), to assure that the Deposit
Insurance Fund is adequately
capitalized. The Certified Statement
provides insured institutions with an
accounting of the FDIC’s assessment.
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Request for Comment
Comments are invited on: (a) Whether
the collection of information is
necessary for the proper performance of
the FDIC’s functions, including whether
the information has practical utility; (b)
the accuracy of the estimates of the
burden of the information collection,
including the validity of the
methodology and assumptions used; (c)
ways to enhance the quality, utility, and
clarity of the information to be
collected; and (d) ways to minimize the
burden of the information collection on
respondents, including through the use
of automated collection techniques or
other forms of information technology.
All comments will become a matter of
public record.

GTAC meeting is to discuss the
potential areas of work and focus for the
duration of this committee, as well as to
begin discussing the per diem rate
setting methodology.

model documents for qualified trusts.
OGE intends to submit these forms to
the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) for review and approval of a
three-year extension under the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44
U.S.C. chapter 35). OGE is proposing
minor changes to update these forms.
