The supplemental letter dated April 15, 2013, provided additional information that clarified the application, did not expand the scope of the application as originally noticed, and did not change the staff’s original proposed no significant hazards consideration determination as published in the Federal Register. The purpose of the mPowerTM DSRS is to more fully integrate the use of risk insights into the review of a design certification (DC), an early site permit (ESP) or a combined license (COL) that incorporates the mPowerTM design.
