The chartered SAB identified three planned actions for additional fact-finding [Effluent Guidelines and Standards for Unconventional Oil and Gas Extraction Including Coalbed Methane and Shale Gas Extraction (2040 AF35); Revised Regulations for Environmental Radiation Protection Standards for Nuclear Power Plant Operations (2060 AR12), and Petroleum Refinery Sector Risk and Technology Review (RTR) and New Source Performance Standards (2060 AQ75), which EPA plans to jointly propose with Petroleum Refinery Sector for Flares (2060–AR69)].
