Abstract: Section 6425(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code provides that a corporation may file an application for an adjustment of an overpayment of estimated income tax. Form 4466 is used for this purpose. The IRS uses the information on Form 4466 to process the claim, so the refund can be issued. Current Actions: There are no changes being made to the form at this time. Type of Review: Extension of a currently approved collection. Affected Public: Business or other forprofit organizations.
