SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The FHWA, in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), will prepare an EIS for proposed transportation improvements in the vicinity of State Route (SR) 20. The proposed project termini extend for approximately 24 miles beginning between Interstate 575 (I–575) and State Route 400 (SR 400) in Cherokee and Forsyth Counties, Georgia. Current known issues along the corridor include congestion, limited mobility, and safety issues. An EIS will be prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA: 42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq.) of 1969, and the regulations implementing NEPA set forth in 40 CFR PARTS 1500–1508 and 23 CFR part 771, as well as the provisions of Safe Accountable Flexible Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA–LU) and Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP–21). Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), is extending the review and 
comment period of the DEIS for the Pyramid Way and McCarran Boulevard 
Intersection Improvement project for an additional 15 days; therefore,
