In accordance with the
Federal Land Policy and Management
Act and the Federal Advisory
Committee Act of 1972, the U.S.
Department of the Interior, Bureau of
Land Management (BLM) Central
Montana Resource Advisory Council
(RAC) will meet as indicated below.
DATES: The meeting will be May 8–9,
2013. The May 8 meeting will begin at
10 a.m. with a 30-minute public
comment period and will adjourn at
4:30 p.m. The May 9 meeting will begin
at 8 a.m. with a 30-minute public
comment period beginning at 10 a.m.
and will adjourn at 12 p.m.
ADDRESSES: The meetings will be in the
Holiday Village Mall Community Center
at 1753 US Hwy 2 West, Havre,
Montana.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This 15member council advises the Secretary of
the Interior on a variety of management
issues associated with public land
management in Montana. During these
meetings the council will participate in/
discuss/act upon these topics/activities:
a roundtable discussion among council
members and the BLM; Climatologist
presentation; Recreation Fees on the
Upper Missouri Wild and Scenic River;
Fish, Wildlife and Parks Director to
discuss bison; DVD on BLM’s Wild
Horse Documentary; Fish, Wildlife and
Parks Commission perspective on Bison;
National Landscape Conservation
Strategy; Campground Fee Proposal for
Camp Creek and Montana Gulch; and
District Manager updates. All RAC
meetings are open to the public. Each
formal RAC meeting will also have time

Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), the
Department of the Interior, Bureau of
Land Management (BLM), Grand
Staircase-Escalante National Monument
Advisory Committee (GSENMAC) will
meet as indicated below.
DATES: The GSENMAC will meet
Tuesday, May 7, 2013, (1:00–6:00 p.m.)
and Wednesday, May 8, 2013, (8:00
a.m.–5:00 p.m.) in Escalante, Utah.

SUMMARY:
The 15member GSENMAC was appointed by
the Secretary of the Interior on August
2, 2011, pursuant to the Monument
Management Plan, the Federal Land
Policy and Management Act of 1976
(FLPMA), and the Federal Advisory
Committee Act of 1972 (FACA). As
specified in the Monument Management
Plan, the GSENMAC has several
primary tasks: (1) Review evaluation
reports produced by the Management
Science Team and make
recommendations on protocols and
projects to meet overall objectives; (2)
Review appropriate research proposals
and make recommendations on project
necessity and validity; (3) Make
recommendations regarding allocation
