Business Council. The National
Women’s Business Council is tasked
with providing policy recommendations
on issues of importance to women
business owners to the President,
Congress, and the SBA Administrator.
The purpose of the meeting is to
provide updates on NWBC’s current
research portfolio and its upcoming
research topics and action items for
2013. The topics discussed will include,
but are not limited to: Job creation,
access to markets, access to capital,
reliable data, and expert briefings and
opinions on policy and legislative
priorities in the 113th Congress that
affect the growth of women-owned
business.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Background
The FAA established ARAC to
provide advice and recommendations to
the FAA Administrator on the FAA’s
rulemaking activities with respect to
aviation-related issues. This includes
obtaining advice and recommendations
on the FAA’s commitments to
harmonize FAA Regulations with its
partners in Europe and Canada.
Amendment 33–20, adopted
September 5, 2000, revised the bird
ingestion type certification standards for
aircraft turbine engines to better address
the actual bird threat encountered in
service. These requirements were
adopted, in part, as a response to
National Transportation Safety Board
(NTSB) safety recommendation A–76–
64. The NTSB recommended increasing
