January 8, 2013, the Commission
approved the filing dates for the Special
Primary, Runoff and General Elections
that will be held in the First
Congressional District to fill the U.S.
House seat vacated by Senator Tim
Scott. The Special General Election date
is May 7, 2013. The Democratic and
Republican parties will nominate
candidates for that election in Special
Primary Elections on March 19, 2013,
with Special Runoff Elections held on
April 2, 2013, if necessary. At the time

Carolina Special Green Party
Convention shall file a 12-day PreConvention Report on February 25,

Political committees filing on a semiannual basis in 2013 are subject to
special election reporting if they make
previously undisclosed contributions or
expenditures in connection with the
South Carolina Special Green Party
Convention or Special General Election
by the close of books for the applicable
report(s). (See charts below for the
closing date for each report.)
Committees filing monthly that make
contributions or expenditures in
connection with the South Carolina
Special Green Party Convention or
Special General Election will continue
to file according to the monthly
reporting schedule.

aggregate in excess of $17,100 during
