The Joint ACRS Subcommittees on
Thermal Hydraulic Phenomena and
Materials, Metallurgy and Reactor Fuels
will hold a meeting on February 20,

attendance, with the exception of a

information that is propriety pursuant to

The Subcommittees will review and
discuss the thermal conductivity
degradation (TCD) issue, how TCD
impacts legacy fuel mechanical design
codes, and how TCD affects plant safety
analysis. The Subcommittees will hear
presentations by and hold discussions
with the NRC staff and other interested
persons regarding this matter.
Members of the public desiring to
provide oral statements and/or written
comments should notify the Designated
