The SBA is issuing this notice
to announce the location, date, time,
and agenda for its public meeting of the
Interagency Task Force on Veterans
Small Business Development. The
meeting will be open to the public.
DATES: Friday, February 15, 2013, from
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon in the
Eisenhower Conference Room, Side A,
located on the 2nd floor.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Pursuant
to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal
Advisory Committee Act (5 U.S.C.,
Appendix 2), SBA announces the
meeting of the Interagency Task Force
on Veterans Small Business
Development. The Task Force is
established pursuant to Executive Order
13540 and focused on coordinating the

capital, business development
opportunities and pre-established

service-disabled veterans (SDVOSB’s).
Moreover, the Task Force shall
coordinate administrative and
regulatory activities and develop
proposals relating to ‘‘six focus areas’’:
(1) Access to capital (loans, surety
bonding and franchising); (2) Ensure
achievement of pre-established
contracting goals, including mentor

opportunities; (3) Increase the integrity
of certifications of status as a small
business; (4) Reducing paperwork and
administrative burdens in accessing
business development and
entrepreneurship opportunities; (5)
Increasing and improving training and
counseling services; and (6) Making
other improvements to support veteran’s
business development by the Federal
government.
On November 1, 2011, The
Interagency Task Force on Veterans
Small Business Development submitted
its first report to the President, which
included 18 recommendations that were
applicable to the ‘‘six focus areas’’
identified above. The purpose of the
meeting is scheduled as a full Task
Force meeting. The agenda will include
a presentation and discussion of the
recommendations included in the Task
Force Report to the President.
In addition, the Task Force will allow
time to obtain public comment from
individuals and representatives of
organizations regarding the areas of
focus.
FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: The
meeting is open to the public; however,
advance notice of attendance is
requested. Anyone wishing to attend
and/or make a presentation to the Task
Force must contact Cheryl Simms, by
February 11, 2013, by email in order to
be placed on the agenda. Comments for
the Record should be applicable to the
‘‘six focus areas’’ of the Task Force and
emailed prior to the meeting for
inclusion in the public record, verbal
presentations; however, will be limited
to five minutes in the interest of time
and to accommodate as many presenters
as possible. Written comments should

Culturally Significant Objects Imported
for Exhibition
Determinations: ‘‘Edwardian
Opulence: British Art at the Dawn of the
Twentieth Century’’
SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given of the
following determinations: Pursuant to
the authority vested in me by the Act of
October 19, 1965 (79 Stat. 985; 22 U.S.C.
2459), Executive Order 12047 of March
27, 1978, the Foreign Affairs Reform and
Restructuring Act of 1998 (112 Stat.
2681, et seq.; 22 U.S.C. 6501 note, et
seq.), Delegation of Authority No. 234 of
October 1, 1999, and Delegation of
Authority No. 236–3 of August 28, 2000
(and, as appropriate, Delegation of
Authority No. 257 of April 15, 2003), I
hereby determine that the objects to be
included in the exhibition ‘‘Edwardian
Opulence: British Art at the Dawn of the
Twentieth Century,’’ imported from
abroad for temporary exhibition within
the United States, are of cultural
significance. The objects are imported
pursuant to loan agreements with the
foreign owners or custodians. I also
determine that the exhibition or display
of the exhibit objects at The Yale Center
for British Art in New Haven,
Connecticut from on or about February
28, 2013, until on or about June 2, 2013,
and at possible additional exhibitions or
venues yet to be determined, is in the
national interest. I have ordered that
Public Notice of these Determinations
be published in the Federal Register.
